During world war 2 there was a huge migration to the Oakland / East bay area from the south. The migration was made up of mostly blacks and poor whites. African Americans weren't afforded the same job opportunities as whites, because of the Jim Crow laws. African Americans came from all over the south to work for Henry J Kaiser on the railroad, to lay down track. This huge influx caused the East bay to become the multi diverse culture that it is today. This inspired me to design a logo for "town bizzness" My great grandfather was part of that great migration! He came here to handle Town Bizzness on the railroad. The train keeps on rollin and handing "town bizzness"! So when the train comes rollin to your town! Make Sure You are handling Town Bizzness!
